In Spain, if you own a place for tourists to stay, you have to keep a record of who stays there. It’s a rule that’s not widely known. This record needs to be shared with the authorities, like the Civil Guard, to ensure public safety. The traveler registration form must be filled in at check-in with the details of guests aged 16 and over. The registration form must be sent to the authorities within 24 hours of the arrival or departure of the guests. And also, the travel registrations must be registered by the host in a travel register book, which can be in physical or digital format, with a minimum of 100 pages and a maximum of 500 pages. Please note that an additional charge is applicable for late check-in. EUR 20 from 21:00 to 22:59. EUR 30 from 23:00. Arrivals after 9:00 p.m. are subject to a €20 supplement, payable upon arrival. Arrivals after 11:00 p.m. will incur a €30 supplement, payable upon arrival. It is an essential requirement, without which entry to the accommodations will not be permitted, to provide the information requested in the Ministry of the Interior's Traveler's Report, which came into effect on February 12, 2024. This is a legal obligation pursuant to Article 25, "Documentary Registration Obligations," of Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, on the Protection of Citizen Security, and Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26, Article 4, "Documentary Registration and Communication Obligations."This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
